  Updating table with Excel spreadsheet

  Hi everyone

  I have recently started to use the Table function in InDesign CS2. I find it very useful as it can import Excel files direct to InDesign.

  However I wonder if anyone here knows if it

  I tried this once with a little success. But, it was setting a style for a table, importing Excel as an unformatted table then applying the table style.

  It’s been a while since I did that but I didn’t have any plug-ins that I remember.

  However, it was basic colorings of cells and dotted rules.

  I’ve also restyled the Excel file with the basic same styles (colors really) and then brought that in as a formatted table and cut down some rework.
