  Black Magic Hyperdeck shuttle 2 – wont play file from card reader

  I recently bought a Blackmagic Hyperdeck shuttle 2 for projecting a video in an installation, however I can’t get an image up on the screen when connecting the card reader to the hyperdeck which is connected to the projector. It only shows the play sign but no image.
  I do however get an image when playing the file directly from my mac, connected to the hyperdeck which is connected to the projector.

  I have formatted it to DOS (FAT), and I’m using a Kingston V300 SSD card to play a 422 Pro Res HQ file. Maybe the format is wrong?

  All the recommended SSD cards that I find seem to be outdated. Am I using the right SSD card?

  Alternatively, do I need to set it up in a specific order: format before adding the SSD card to the card reader or the other way around ?
