  ultrastudio mini monitor audio problem

  Hi,

  just started using my Ultrastudio mini monitor with Avid MC hooked up to a cheap samsung HDTV (T22B300) that appears to have NO audio output whatsoever, no headphone jack even. Ofcourse only now i’m realising this and I cannot connect to my old analogue receiver that drive my speakers.

  I can either replace the HDTV, however I just bought this one.. for one that has audio out. Or would it be possible to add some kind of hdmi splitter box to extract the L/R audio channels.

  Would this work with the Ultrastudio mini monitor or is there any other work-around to this?

  Or should I trade in my Mini Monitor for a BM intensity shuttle box ?
