  OWC Electra & Extreme SSDs

  Has anyone had success using OWC’s Mercury Electra SSDs (240GB) in their Hyperdeck Studio Pro? They are not on Blackmagic’s “approved” list. ( see the list of approved SSDs at https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/support/detail/faqs?sid=3960&pid=27547&os=mac )

  OWC’s Mercury Extreme series is the approved one from OWC, but the vendor doesn’t know the difference. They even list the unapproved Electra SSDs as an accessory
  ( https://www.fullcompass.com/product/405638.html) They have refused to accept the return of the SSDs, even though they have sold me the wrong one. We specified the correct disc from the Blackmagic list.

  This is why I want to know, before I take this any further, are there any folks who have successfully used these SSDs for the Hyperdeck Studio?
