  Acquisition and color grading

  Hello,

  I’m new within Créative Cow. I’m not a professional but i need for my association to maje acquisition of a lot VHS and then color grade HD and SD video on a lacie 324 (i have an opprtunity to buy one cheaper). So my questions are :
  I have an iMac thunderbolt, so i thought to buy an intensity extreme thunderbolt to do the acquisition. Am i right?
  Then for the color grading, i read that i need an hdlink to get good color for grading. Is it true?
  Is there another way to do that ? And is there a better monitor (not to expensive) to do grading with my configuration?
