  SDI output recording

  Hi,

  I am new to this workflow and wanted to know basic information on recording SDI output.
  Which softwares are best to record using high quality codecs?
  Does the monitor of the playback dictate how high a resolution you can record?
  If you have the Black Magic Decklink SDI can you record at the camera’s maximum resolution?
  What would be a good estimate to record 30 seconds of 2K footage recording the SDI output?

  Are there any complications shooting over 1000 fps? Does the SDI recording capture all of the frames?
