Hey, I’m pretty familiar with AE’s Image stabilization, but I’m wondering if there’s a way to just improve a shot’s stability but not totally remove all camera shake.

Can this be done in AE?

Also, I’ve been looking around for 3rd party programs that might do image stabilization better than AE.

    Suggestions would be appreciated.

[Dave LaRonde] “AE 10.5’s Warp Stabilizer is the tool for you.”

I’ll second that. I think the Warp Stabilizer alone is worth the cost of the upgrade.

If you’re on the fence, try the 30-day AE CS5.5 demo.

It does look like the right tool.

I was a little confused. I though that this was the update: https://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5127

But I guess it’s a paid thing. This, I shall consider.
