  Scripting: Create a Comp in a Comp

  I need to create an empty comp in an empty comp with scripting (child – parent). Later i’ll add the content/layers. Been mucking around with addComp but im getting all errors. I would be grateful for a short example of how to use addComp or whatever it is i need to use for this.

  I apologize for not being more clear in what i need to do. I’m creating jsx templates that can be used for hundreds of projects. The jsx will be created with Python and each base template will be populated with file data. So i really need to do it with scripting.
