  No Audio is being played

  I’m using AE 6.5 Pro and I got the problem that no sound is played once it is placed in the timeline

  I also opened a project that I did in the past, using 6.0 (and in the past the sound worked fine, but now I can’t hear anything anymore)

  – I create a new project and a new composition
  – I import a windows PCM .wav file, 44.1 khz 16 bit
  – the file can be played if I doubleclick it in the project window (I mean that I can hear it)
  – once I drag it into the timeline and press RAM-Preview (or scrub around in it using CTRL) I can’t hear anything anymore. The waveform is a totally flat line, too

  What is this ?
