  • Decklink HD Extreme 3D – No input signal

    Hi,

On Ubuntu Linux, we’re trying to capture 1080p59.94Hz (or optionally 1080p 50Hz) video from a medical endoscopy system. The 8.0 SDK Capture program indicates ‘No input signal detected’ (i.e. API flag = bmdFrameHasNoInputSource). The card installation is confirmed with BlackmagicFirmwareUpdater and successful testing with synthetic signals from other PC’s. Additionally we verified that the endoscopy output signal can be detected with an ExtremeRGB video card.

Any advise is much appreciated! Are there other diagnostic software that can further identify the true issue? Could auto input detection be enabled and if so, could this be the issue? Are there signal generation/detection programs that can verify the card’s validity and verify the incoming endoscopic signal?

    Thanks in advance!

    Wen
