I am thinking of getting a black magic intensity for my computer
    and have some questions..

Except the quality of capturing through HDMI,
and the quality of previews on external HD monitor,
will it improve the speed of rendering in Premiere CS5
and the effects used? The previews inside the premiere software?
Will it accelerate the premiere working speed at all?

Will i benefit from the card by using Sony Vegas Video?

I don not believe you will see any increase in any rendering speed (but I can only speak for Vegas). The card is more of an in/out card for high quality video, more of a capture card, NOT a video card.
I got mine specifically to fly in BETA SP and also a variety of other analog sources….in Vegas I can use it to preview but gain nothing at all in render speeds or preview quality. It does NOT to my understanding have any CUDA processing which is what Vegas and Premiere need… good luck!
