  Intensity Shuttle and Gigabyte

  I currently have a Gigabyte H55-USB3 with an Intel Core i5 processor, 4 gigs of DDR3 RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT graphics card. I was wondering if this is sufficient for an Intensity Shuttle. Or can I use it for an Intensity Pro PCIe?

  I don’t believe it will work. The Shuttle needs an X58 or P55 chip set, that board has an H55 chip set.

  How ever the Intensity Pro doesn’t specify it needs one of those chipsets but does need the right express slot. the second link, down under “Extras” defines this.

  I have the Shutle with the Asus P6X58D-Premium MB but the -E for just over $200 works as well. I would spring for one of these boards and get the Shuttle. Specs show it handles more HD and SD formats.
  There are no supported laptops yet for the Shuttle but I suspect there will be eventually, and with the Shuttle, your portable with it. Not so with the card. Hope this helps, Danny Hays
