  Blackmagic Intensity flickers to black and then crashes FCP

  Hi folks

  Just built up a new system, 8 core Mac Pro, 10.6.4 and FCP 7.3.

  After a few minutes of playing, the output on the Decklink starts to flash to black and FCP is likely to crash.

  We have 3 or 4 other Intensity cards and haven’t seen this problem. Is it possibly a bad card?

  Hi John,

  The best way to tell is to move one of the known good guys into this Mac Pro. If it works fine, then the card in question will need to be RMAed.
