  DeckLink Extreme and Beta SP input

  I am trying to input some old footage off Beta SP but cannot seem to get a signal in.

  Connecting deck to BM card via component cables.

  I get a picture on the monitor via the composite out, but nothing shows in the FCP log and capture window. I am just wondering what would be the Audio / Video settings I should be using in FCP.

  Any help appreciated.

  Hi.

  BM settings for pal or ntsc for fcp.

  You have also to change input in system prefs from sdi to component. (yuv)
