  problems with DVI extenders

  hi there all

  we have installed 10 DVIextenders today and we experienced some troubles with them. with some computers (macbook pro’s) the unit do not give any picture after startup. after deconnect an reconnect of the USBcable the picture is getting back. the strange thing is that the macbook when it isn’t working still sees the DVIextender!

  we also connected 2 of these unit’s as a sort of bridge between DVIrouter and a HD-SDI router. the unit’s react a bit strange on the DVI output’s of a GVGturbo. when we put the Turbo on 1080iRGB the colors are swapped. when we put the Turbo’s on Y,Cb,Cr the unit react’s like it should (obviously wrong but wrong in the way it should 😉 )

  any suggestion’s i guess it’s one of those wars against EDID
