  BM DV- black

  I have been digitizing some SD NTSC footage via MediaExpress 2.0.1 using the DV codec. When I open it in either QUICKTIME Player 7 or Quicktime playerX, I get audio, but no picture, just black. Anyone else have that issue?

  Actually…I think we just repoed this in house today. It sounds almost as if there is some decode issue. Like the generic players are trying to decode with a different DV codec.

  I thought we used MS DV for PC and QT DV for Mac, but this would appear not to be the case in Media Express 2.0.

  In short…you’re not insane…something is up there. We are looking into this.
