  STP and Intensity Pro issues

  I have been having issues with my intensity pro card not working with Soundtrack Pro all the time. It works with FCP and playback and even as my computers audio output with iTunes. The Pro card is routed through a Mackie 1202.

  There are times I launch STP and everything works great. Other times, there’s a lot of popping and crackling feedback then no audio. STP is set to use BM Intensity Pro audio. Does a video device need to be plugged in and powered on just like when recording audio in FCP using Capture Now?

  I can’t figure this one out. Any help is appreciated.
