  Decklink Studio & Canon’s 24f

  So after wanting to throw firewire interfaces and transcoding times out the window, I was looking at the Decklink Studio for my 2007 Mac Pro, running 10.4.11. Some questions:

  1. Since I have a Caldigit RAID card recently installed, will one PCI-E 1x slot be enough for this card?

  2. I’m shooting in 24f on an XH A1 and HV30, using HV30 to log footage. How is control of the HV30 achieved for batch capture in Final Cut Pro if I’m exporting through HDMI to the Decklink?

  3. What parts of this workflow am I stupidly forgetting?

  As always, I throw myself on the mercy of the more knowledgeable.
