I am trying to capture audio through the intensity pro (audio playback works). I have tried capturing through Final cut, soundbooth, garageband and soundtrack….I have changed the input (in sys prefs and in the respected programs I am trying to capture in) to blackmagic and I get nothing….what am I doing wrong? (I am using the analog l/r cables not the HDMI)

Sys Prefs are set to blackmagic in and blackmagic out…can the card do both plaback and record at the same time or is it one or the other? Either way, I have experimented turning the output to built in and i still can’t capture audio with the intensity pro.

    System specs:

    Model Name: Mac Pro
    Model Identifier: MacPro3,1
    Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon
    Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz
    Number Of Processors: 2
    Total Number Of Cores: 8
L2 Cache (per processor): 12 MB
    Memory: 18 GB
    Bus Speed: 1.6 GHz

to intensity pro card. Video is fine but there is no audio at all
I have tried HDMI from another camcorder and works fine both audio and video . what am I doing wrong?
