  1U Rackmount Ultrascope

  Hi,

  I’m sure people are getting mighty annoyed with question about Ultrascope hardware compatibility – but I’m investigating the possibility to put an Ultrascope board into a 1U rackmount machine.

  I’m looking at something like this:

  It has 2 full PCIe slots.

  Of course we won’t know if it works until I try it, but if anyone has any insight, or maybe an example of their working 1U configuration that would help, too.

  Does Ultrascope fit into a low profile or half-length PCIe slot?

  Even if this box works, without the proper video display card, nothing will work. I have used hi end PC’s with hi end graphics cards, and without the CORRECT graphics card, it won’t work.

  Do not assume that this product will work unless you have the graphics card that is required. “But this is an expensive NVidia card” is not the correct answer.

  I just purchased a 2U Rackmount CPU from Superlogics for the Ultrascope. Works great, if only a smaller monitor could be used it would be perfect. If anyone would like a detailed build I would be happy to post.
