  Decklink HD Extreme

  hey guys
  I am a video editor, working with FCP,
  I have no previous experience with Black magic at all. (but I have the manual here and I will learn about it)

  working on a MAC Pro I have a Decklink HD Extreme card installed in the computer by another editor
  I have to capture some footage form Beta deck into FCP so I figured I will need to use the blackmagic card
  so I want to install the software but i get the messgae “the installer could not locate the data it needed to install the software check your install media….”
  my question is:

  what does that mean?
  how do I know if the card was installed properly? I cant see it in the “about this mac”
