  Decklink for SD Mini DV footage

  Hi,

  I have a project shot in SD on mini dv. I’m basically looking for the absolute BEST method of capturing my footage for editing, so that none of the quality is lost. Will a Blackmagic Decklink capture card preserve the footage at its highest quality? If so, which card would be best to use?

  Firewire capture from camera or DV Deck is all u need. This is a direct data transfer.
