  Playback stops with PP2

  Premiere pro: If it’s not one thing, it’s another.

  Playback freezes with Intensity Pro on PP2’s program monitor. Source monitor works fine.

  Earlier, I had to downgrade to Intensity 2.0 drivers simply to get PP to stop crashing on import. Bob was my uncle, until this playback thing started to happen. So I downgraded to each Intensity pro driver version, down to 1.8.4. I still can’t get playback for more than 1.5 seconds.

  The problem only seems to occur with the Intensity presets for Premiere Pro 2. Standard NTSC presets work fine. Unfortunately, that would mean no external monitor. I would normally cut my losses and walk away from this but I need that monitor, if at all possible.

  As I mentioned in a previous post, I run into no issues whatsoever with After Effects.

  Any other avenues worth exploring?
