  Audio monitoring problems

  I have the BM HD extreme 2 – and a pair of Active speakers connected to it…..

  The audio is WAY to high…. And Im not able to fix it…..

  I heard of someone experiencing the same thing – and they ha dto set some kind of audio limiter on the XLR cable…

  Opinions anyone?

  you can easily fix this. Purchase an inexpensive audio mixer, and it will attenuate the level into your speakers. This concept is known as a volume control (just like you have used your entire life).

  Well I thought about that – and sure I can try that.

  But the fact that my Speakers have volume control – and the MAC GUI has – And The BMD gui has a volume control made me think that ” perhaps I dont need another volume control?”

  Ok. This should be fine. The HD Extreme analog audio output is balanaced XLR at +4dB.
