  Capturing/outputting captioned material

  I have a gig where I am going to be capturing broadcast masters from DigiBetas with closed captioning, inserting some new promos at act breaks and then outputting back to a new DigiBeta masters.

  Do I have to do anything special to retain the captioning in the new masters? Should I be capturing VANC lines? How does this get laid back with picture and sound?

  Will the inserts screw up the captions after them? (are they tied to a specific timecode?)
