  No Communication after upgrade

  Once again I find myself without deck control after doing an upgrade to the latest FCP and quicktime. I’m on OS 10.4.11. I have a multibridge, though it’s impossible to remember which one.

  I even went out and bought a new RS232 cable.

  I can control the deck through the “deck control” application but FCP tells me “no communication”.

  I posted this issue a year ago and at the time there was some conflict between the drivers and FCP. So I just upgraded to the new Blackmagic drivers and nothing works.
