  Red code support plans

  Hi.

  Is there eny plans to support RED camera work flow by BM ?

  Margus,

  We would love to support Red. Unfortunately there is no full workflow that we can tap into yet.

  Once the codecs are made available for integration into to the editing applications we can absolutely make our boards able to capture and play back the footage.

  Currently there is an app that can be used to transcode the file from it’s 2k format into 1k (1024×512) ProRes. And if those files are dropped into one of our 2k Presets they play out, but out of aspect.

  We are looking into making those files play, but realistically we would rather wait until the codecs are made available to the app so that it can be supported properly.

  So keep the pressure on red to get that working in the apps.
