  Uncompressed projects in CS3

  New Blackmagic Decklink HD Extreme user here. We’ve used Leitch/Harris VelocityQ systems (still have 4 systems) for 8 years. We’ve setup one workstation with the decklink HD extreme and Premeire CS3. Install goes fine, but when we go to setup a project in Premiere the only Blackmagic options we get are 8 bit and 10 bit uncompressed and a couple other uncompressed options. We rarely edit projects uncompressed and are quite happy doing projects at DVCpro50 resolution.

  Is there some additional install we need? We haven’t installed the drivers released last week, but I can’t imagine that would add any additional codecs for this card.

  I was under the impression we’d be able to capture, edit and output using native DVCPro50 codecs from our Panasonic DVCPro50 decks via SDI.

  What real-time codec options SHOULD I see when setting up Premiere CS3 projects with the Decklink HD Extreme card?

  Blackmagic documentation is vague at best. I read the entire manual and the Decklink HD extreme isn’t even listed in the online version we have that came with our disk…just the decklink extreme.
