  problem with Sony HVR-1500 HDV workflow

  Hi
  I’m using HVR-1500 to play HDV 1080 50i as PAL 576i from the SD-SDI output.
  My setup is G5 dual 2.5, 6Gb Ram
  Mac OS X 10.5.1,
  FCP 6.0.2 QT 7.3.1
  and Decklink Extreme

  the problem is the control.
  when I’m using “Blackmagic 25” as controller, the time code is wrong and the HVR cannot lock to play when it pre roll.

  the only way to capture is to change the controller in FCP to “Blackmagic 29.97 non-drop” and then the HVR lock and have no problem.

  the final video is 720×576 30Fps with normal time code. play normal no render in Uncompressed 8-bit PAL.

  Am I the only one? or somebody know about this problem?
