  intensity and xbox 360

  That mean you could capture from hdmi port of xbox 360 to BM card.

  For me doesn’t work, i see on my hd tv(samsung) but not on my PC. what is the problem ?

  This means the signal is passing through the card but the capturing software is not seeing it.

  What are you using to capture? Adobe Premiere Pro? Media Express? What do you see in the capture preview window of your capturing program?

  It’s work more better

  i update driver so now i have 1.8.2 driver.

  Using Media Express or virtual dub i can capture video but not the sound. with premiere pro CS3 stop after 18s of recording :[

  When i capturing i see the video with no problem on HD TV no problem only no sound.

  Hi Joel,

  What settings are you using in Media Express to capture? What kind of drives are you capturing to?

  on media express :
  Video format: HDTV 720p 60Hz
  compression Type : uncompressed (same if problem if i use MJPG)

  On blackmagic intensity control (Windows)
  Set Output : All outputs Active
  Set Input : HDMI Video & HDMI Audio
  Select output processing : off
  Selct input processing : off

  Computer configuration :
  I have 2x500Go on Raid 0 plug on firewire 400 and 2 GO DDR2 RAM (800MHz)- Win XP SP2 – CORE 2 DUO E6300 processor.

  I try to capture Xbox 360 video. Video it’s ok no problem it’s just Sound.

  I am actually having a similar problem capturing 360 footage through HDMI. When I turn on the xbox I get no sound. But if I fiddle around with the resolutions, it seems to spontaniously give me the sound back.

  Say I was set at 720p and I changed it to 1080i, it would give me a message asking me if I can see it, then do the same at 50Hz. Then if I turn it back to 720p it will go through the same process but randomly start giving out the audio. I can’t even replicate it every time, and if I get the sound then restart my xbox, the sound is gone again. It’s very frustrating. I don’t know whether the xbox is faulty or the cable is fawlty or the intensity or the software.

  Anyone have any idea why this would happen?

  ok so this is pissing me off im trying to set up my BM card so i can capture footage off my Xbox 360. currently i have a HDMI from my Xbox 360 to the HDMI in on the BM card and a HDMI from my tv to the HDMI out on the bm card. what is wrong please help me. my current settings are:

  BlackMagic Control Panel Settings are:
  Set OutPut: HDMI & Y,R-Y,B-Y
  Set InPut: HDMI Video & HDMI Audio
  Ouput processing: off
  Input processing: off

  Media Express Settings are:
  Project Video Format: HD 1080i 50
  Capture File Format: AVI 8-Bit YUV

  help me please
