  Down converting not playing, just still

  quick question…

  I have a DVCproHD 25p timeline, I’d like to watch it on my SD monitor. That is connected via component out.

  I can get a picture properly downconverted, but I can’t play it. Only a still frame of the current frame at playhead when stopped.

  I am running BMhd extreme on a macpro with 3gig ram. and final cut 5.2 (I think, away from computer at moment)

  Is this because I am going out analogue? Is Downconversion only available via SDI?
