While trying to playback a RGB Photo-Jpeg Quicktime in FCP 6, I came across the recently mentioned RGB gamma playback shift problem that was mentioned on these forums a while back (https://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/124/866129).

For those unaquainted, RGB playback in FCP 6 does not seem to be properly supported with FCP 6 Blackmagic Drivers. Playing back these movies will result in an overly dark image that, once stopped, will pop back to the correct gamma.

My question if, HAS THIS BEEN FIXED??? I’m using the 6.2 drivers because the 6.3 / 6.4 drivers have a bug playing back 720p HD downconverted to SD… BUT this RGB bug is just as bad. Is there a workaround or is there simply no BM Drivers that are bug free for FCP 6?
