  Intensity to a 23 inch computer screen

  If I understood correctly, the HDMI and DVI signal are the basically same (the only difference is that HDMI carries Audio as well?). So I guess it should be possible to connect a 23 inch apple or dell screen to a BM intensity card for monitoring with the use of a HDMI to DVI converter? Or is that assumption totally wrong?

  Hi,

  You will not be able to use the Intensity output to a computer type display which takes DVI as the signals are not really the same.

  Intensity outputs YUV video while the computer display will expect RGB. THe computer display also expects a particular frame rate and will not sync to something different. Intensity does not cater for this, it simply sends the video straight out.
