June 18, 2007 at 9:55 amif the card is pci-e than you can switch, if it’s pci-x than you have to buy a new one.

a_falk is correct. If you’re using the DeckLink HD card, it is PCI-X and will not work in the PCIe slot of the Mac Pro. You’ll need a PCIe card then. The DeckLink HD Extreme is a nice option to consider.
