  Decklink Extreme PCIe- SDI failure?

  Hello,

  We’ve got a Decklink extreme (PCIe) wich is directly connected with our Media 100 844/X System via SDI. It is housed in a Mac pro (Quad, Intel).

  We use the SDI connection to put our 844/X-edits as a None-compressed 10-bits Quicktime movie on the Mac pro in realtime. We use this setup with Decklink driver V6.2.

  The problem: Our Mac pro doesn’t seem to be able to receive the data via SDI correctly. The first 15 seconds or so are captured but then the system states an error message of frames being dropped.

  We’ve had the system running properly a while ago, but we haven’t written down any settings or driver versions.

  To avoid getting the wrong answers to the sollution: Harddrives are ok, we’ve even installed two new 500G disks in Raid formation, so this can’t be it…

  We hope there is someone who can tell us the answer to our problem, thanks!
