  Write to Video from Final Cut Pro Problem – please look:)

  Alright,

  I have an Aja Kona Black Magic Card in my Mac pro and Im running Final Cut Pro 5.1.2 .

  The problem Im having comes when Im writing to tape from Final Cut. I’ll set my “in” point and begin to write to tape, which it does. Then at the end of the recording when it is done; instead of the screen/tape going back to black, (signifying the end of video and back to blank tape), the screen completely washes grey and then checker board dissolves out back to black. I just wanted to know if anyone has heard of this or seen this… I have been trouble shooting for a while now with no avail.

  I appreciate ANY help/advice given. Thank you.

  Hi Tyler,

  If you are using an AJA Kona card (other than the Kona SD), please repost your query in the Kona forum and they should be able to help you. We still have Kona SD driver support in the DeckLink drivers but the Kona SD won’t fit in a Mac Pro so I’m confused about which card you have. If you have a card from Blackmagic Design, please let us know which model of DeckLink or Multibridge you have and we will try to help you. We’ll also need to know which version of DeckLink or Multibridge drivers you have installed and the brand and model of your deck.
