  Problems outputing to tape.

  Experiencing problems with one of our FCP suites and looking for a little guidance.
  Possibly a Decklink problem…

  Whilst using ‘Edit to Tape’ we have the following problems:

  1. We can’t disable the ‘Timecode Insert’ function on the deck. Although deselected on FCP it is always enabled when recording onto the deck (DVW A500P) during insert edit.

  2. When we edit to tape, we often find that there is no output to the deck.
  There is an output to the external monitor via Blackmagic but nothing
  actually gets to tape. This can usually be corrected eventually with several restarts
  but is very hit and miss. Have trashed FCP prefs.

  Any thoughts or ideas……
