  Mac Pro card detection problem

  Hi there,
  I just bought a multibridge extreme package.
  My Mac Pro does not find the card, regardless of what slot i put it into.

  Therefore no other actions with the card are functionable (caputring with FCP etc).
  Any suggestions on how to find the card or is it perhaps no working.

  Hi,

  Is the PCIe card in the top slot to begin with?

  Are you using the PCIe cable we’ve supplied and not a substitute DVI-D cable of your own? They are not the same.

  Does the unit work when it is connected via USB to the Mac? You’ll need to launch the Multibridge Utility to check this one. The software, when launched, should allow you to change the settings on the Multibridge and not be greyed out.

  Hi…Im having the same problem…

  I tryed every slot and changed the configuration on the Expansion utilities as well.
  The card is in the top slot though.
  Im using the PCIe cable youve supplied.
  It works when it is connected via USB to the Mac.
  The software allow me to change the settings on the Multibridge and not be greyed out.
  And last thing…when I connect the DVI cable the fan starts and stops..and the red light goes off.
  Its like tryin to get on but just blinks.
  When I unplug the DVI cable, the units comes back to normal.
