    Hi all,

Trying to capture from a DigiBeta tape using the Sony J30SDI but I keep getting this “No Video Input” message. The deck is connected to the BMD Extreme card using cable 15) SDI In From Deck attached to the SDI video output terminal [rather than the SDI Super terminal] and cable 16) Deck control is attached to the “Remote In” terminal. The deck is definitely responding and the tapes are being cued, but no signal is being picked up. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

Sorry – a bit time sensitive so any help would be hugely appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Mac or PC? What application?
Have you selected SDI as your input source in Decklink preferences?
If you use BM Deck Control, have you chosen right easy setup?

Mac. FCP. Yes. Yes. But didn’t account for moron who didn’t check for the loose connection! A bit of a jiggle and all of a sudden – bingo: Input.

    Thanks anyway – BMD rock.

Well, I`ve got the same connections to the same Sony Betacam player, but can`t capture SDI stream…

Any specific configurations to the player? What about Decklink preferences? Do you know what Pena is saying?

    HELP!
