  Cupture problem

  Hi guys,
  We have purchased a DeckLink Extreme, and we connect the component output of the Sony HVR Z1U to the blackmagic component input and try to capture our HDV footage into 10 bit uncompress in FCP, When The Z1U output set to 1080i there is no video signal, but when we set the Z1U output to 576i (PAL) it is working ok, What are we do wrong?
  We want to get the best video quality, so what are you guys suggest what is the best workflow?
  We shoot HDV and the final output is SD.

  Hi,

  DeckLink Extreme is an SD only card and will not be able to capture HD video from your camera. You’ll need a HD capable card like the DeckLink HD Extreme.

  Thank you Kristian, I understand.
  So if I can capture only SD, what is the best way to get a better video
