We are using our Multibridge Extreme on our Quad G-5 for the first time and a dialog box says “Multibridge Extreme is connected via PCI Express for capture playbeck operation. Please use BM Decklink system preferences to change settings”

Where do we find this little item?

    Hello,

I had that on Windows XP PRO. You need to connect the USB connection to the PC. I then took the power cable out and plug it back in again then it should be picked up and might ask you to update the firmware.

    Thanks,

    Leo

    Hi,

If you’re using the Multibridge Extreme in capture/playback mode (connected via PCIe), all settings are configured as if you have a DeckLink card in your G5, i.e. from System Preferences > DeckLink. The Multibridge Utility is used only when the unit is in standalone mode.
