  1080 25p settings for FCP

  Hi,

  I have a 1080 25p tape from a shoot in Europe I need to capture. Looking through the settings, I don’t see a Blackmagic setting for 1080p 25 fps. Is there one, and I’m missing it, or do I need to modify a current setting?

  I’m using a Sony HDW-2000 for playback, and the tape plays fine.

  Hi Bill,

  Use the 50i settings in Final Cut Pro. if you’re working with progressive video, turn off the field dominance setting in Sequence settings.
