Take your Multibridge analog output, and send it into a Behringer analog audio mixer, like a UB1622FX ($179), and sent the Control Room outputs of the Mixer into your Behringer B2031A speakers. This is the way these speakers are designed to operate. This BIG NOISE you are hearing is becuase no one in their right mind would plug the +4dB output of a professional editing system (like Blackmagic, AJA, AVID, etc.) directly into a set of powered speakers – especially like powerful Behringer B2031A (which are one of my favorite speakers).

BUY A MIXER. You will not go broke, and you will no longer be deaf.

While it is not correct to plug Decklink directly into speakers, the mixer itself will not prevent switching noise. Except if you turn down the volume everytime before switching. For the same purpose, you could insert a simple switch on your audio cable to mute audio.
But this would not be an adequate way to deal with the problem.
If other Blackmagic cards don’t have the same problem ( Decklink SP works fine for me) then it must be multibridge fault, probably some kind of sync issue. Blackmagic should fix it.

    Hi guys
I havent come across this problem in premier pro2 so maybe its a driver final cut problem rather than a multibridge hardware problem.
