    Hello,

Got a strange issue that popped up with a DecklinkSP on a G5 Mac connected to a BetaSP deck using deck control.
We are using FCP 4.5 and OSX 10.4 with the 5.1.2 Decklink software.

The issue is that after logging a clip, when batch capturing with FCP, the program continually takes more than one pass, sometimes as many as 3 or 4 to capture each clip. Obviously, this results in extremely long capture sessions for long segments. This happens even if it’s a single clip, it will act as if it is capturing, then go back to the Ready to Capture clip window and show “Continue” button. If I cancel, the clip is not saved (even though I can see that something had been captured in the scratch folder, it would disappear as soon as cancel is hit).

The latest version of Decklink’s drivers only work with FCP 5.1 and we are not ready to upgrade our production machine to the newer version (4.5 works perfect for our needs).

We also have a DSR-11 hooked up via Firewire, and that does not exhibit this odd behavior.

    Any help appreciated!!!

    Just this guy, Y’know?
