I’m currently using Premiere Pro 2.0 and Decklink Extreme with the latest drivers and I’m experiencing some slowness on my subclipped material. This happens especially when there is audio on the clip. When I drag the clip on the source window, it takes about 1 minute to update. Sometimes it doesnt update and just crashes PP2.0. I’m using DV material digitized using the Decklink DV settings. I’ve also tried importing the project in a new project with diff decklink settings(8bitNTSC). Anyone having this problem as well? Thanks

    Hi

Please can you check that you set your preferences > scratch disks to the fastest disk array ( video array ) This will improve performance and playback.

Check that you have directX9.0, quicktime7.0 and Sp2 with the latest Decklink drivers.

If you are still experiencing difficulties email your system configuration including motherboard make and model include the location of each PCI device and the disk configuration. Number of disks per array, raid level etc. As much information about the process and the workflow as you can come up with and you think may be relavant.
