  • JERKY TIMELINE BMD drivers and Waves Plugins and PACE key ?

    Hi all,

I have been running my Audio DAW ( DP 4.5) & (PEAK) and Video NLE (FCP 5) & (AE 7) out of the same systems for the last year and a half. (With some obvious current reision upgrades).

I have been haveing a jerky frozen Time line problem in FCP for over a year
in any Time line. on both my Dual G5 and G4…..But not on my Power book. I have Decklink card in both of the
the G5 and G4 workstation, Obviously not in the Power Book..

In all my systems I am running FCP and Digital Performer and Peak, I never run more than one of them at the same time.
I use AUDIO PLUGINS (“WAVES GOLD BUNDEL”) With a PACE KEY CODE on an ILOCK…

    Q. Has anyone experianced any problems with/ or is there any known issues with ILOK Dongles and BMD drivers
    could this be the problem.

    Dual G5 2.0
    OS 10.4.5
    FCP 5.04
    2.5 Gig DDR
Decklink HDpro single (in slot 3)
    ATTO UL4D (in slot 4)
    HUGE U320R 1.2 TB RAID
G-RAID 320Gig FW 800 RAID (not running at the same time as HUGE RAID)

    Hi Dane,

WHat is the format of video you’re plyaing in the G4 and G5?

If there is indeed a compatibility problem with the dongles, it should go away when you uninstall. Is this the case?

    regards
