  Deck control cable

  Is there anyone who knows maximum lenght of deck control cable?

  Are you referring to the 9-pin RS422 cable? If it is well made, you should be able to go at least 20 feet, probably much more. The cable that came with my BetaSP deck was that long. Though it was an official “Sony cable”, so it probably cost $150…

  You can run a RS422 deck control cable as long as you like (probably 1000′ without issue). It’s a balanced signal, and can travel LONG distances – I have personally run 300′ runs with no issue.
