  Buying a new system and workflow suggestions

  I’m going to shoot my first set of concerts in HD (1080i) but thinking about editing it all in SD 10 bit uncompressed. Final edit is to be delivered on DigiBeta. These are going to be 6 camera shoots.

  I’m planning on building a FCP system with the Quad G5 using SATA II 4 bay raid drives. Multicam editing – 6 streams. I plan to rent the Sony J-H3 deck to capture all the footage at the start of editing. The card I’m looking at is the Decklink HD Pro 4:2:2 but like I said capturing in SD 10-bit uncompressed.

  Anybody see any potential problems with this workflow. Any better recommendations?
