Hope someone can help me here. Have a BOXX workstation with the DeckLink HD Pro. In Premeire I can control the decks and capture the video but not the audio. The engineer here tested making sure audio is coming through the cables into the card.
The current deck is a SOny DVW-A500
    Audio – AES
Premeires settings are set to Decklink Audio
I also went into the control panel and changes from SDI audio to AES and restarted. Still, no luck.

This is just rude. I’ve called Blackmagic 3 times and left messages on the tech support line. BOXX doesn’t understand why the audio isn’t capturing. Come on Blackmagic, call your customer back or at least please reply to this thread. Few more days and I’m sending the card back.

I’m not with BM but you might try the BlackMagic deckcontrol program that gets installed with the drivers and see if that works.

You might also try enabling the black output during capture (in control panel). Some hardware is very fussy about genlocking and it sometimes shows up in the audio. We had a terrible time with embedded SDI and Targa 3k on our Panasonic Pro 50 decks.

Thanks for the reply. No there’s no audio in the Black Magic deck control. I’ll try try enabling the black output during capture (in control panel) Monday. I’ll post if it worked or not.
