  • Multibridge Extreme won’t be supporting HVX-200 720 24P?

    Hi all:

Based upon the specs, I guess we won’t be able to shoot 720 24P with our new HVX-200s (to be editied with the MBE?) Can anyone from BMD comment? Any future plans also for the Multibridge Extreme to do HD upconversion or any other BMD product? We will all need to be using NTSC legacy material for years to come and sending it out to a dub house for $500.00 per hour NTSC to HD upconversion is not fiscally possible for most of us.

    Thanks,

    Dan

    Hi

Multibridge Extreme and all of the Decklink HD products have HD720 support via Premiere Pro presets. Testing was conducted with a Panasonic Varicam via SDI. 23.976 through to 60p are available and supported.

If you have any HD720 questions please email me. pcsupport@blackmagic-design.com
